Safety Brief

Before This Simulator

In the field, perform LOTO and live-dead-live before touching the breaker: prove the tester on a proving unit or known live 480V source, test the breaker for absence of voltage, then prove the tester again. This simulator starts after that safety hold point.

Keep breaker ON, set 1000V DC, and test A-B, B-C, and C-A from the LINE lugs.

Open Contact LINE-to-LOAD Megger

Open breaker to OFF, set 1000V DC, and test across open contacts A/B/C LINE-to-LOAD.
